OBIT BARGER, WAYNE MILLER

BARGER, Wayne Miller, 81, of Buchanan, died Thursday, September 16, 1993. Survivors include his wife, Mary Welch Barger; sons and daughters-in-law, Sonny and Janice Barger, Don and Mellie Barger, all of Buchanan; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Leonard Austin, Buchanan, Brenda and John Lewis, Troutville, Sherry and Ronnie Ramsey, Buchanan; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Ann Barger, Eagle Rock; 11 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 19, 1993, at 3 p.m. in Springwood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Harold E. Cook Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.
