OBIT HOWERY, MARY TUCKER

HOWERY, Mary Tucker, 69, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, September 16, 1993. She was born February 5, 1924 in Roanoke, a daughter of Alanda and H. R. Tucker. She was the widow of John D. Howery. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Alanda and Jerry Gregory, Luray; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Esther Howery, Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Joey Bryant, Evington; a son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Konye Howery, Roanoke; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 1 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 1993, with the Rev. Aubrey N. Dooley officiating. Burial will be in Fair View Cemetery, Buchanan. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
