OBIT HUTCHISON, GILES LEWIS

HUTCHISON, Giles Lewis, 79, of Roanoke, died Thursday, September 16, 1993 in Burrell Continuing Care Center. Mr. Hutchison was born in Maggie, Va. on February 4, 1914 to the late Grover M. and Rebecca Clementine S. Hutchison. Surviving are three sisters, Dessie Baden, Salem, Grace Miller, Christiansburg, Clara Walker, Union, W.Va.; one brother, Carper Hutchison, Richmond; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 18, at 2 p.m. in Clover Hollow Cemetery, Newport with Mr. James T. Bayne officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
