OBIT PARRISH, MABEL ROBERTSON
PARRISH, Mabel Robertson, 71, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, September 14, 1993,
in a local nursing home. She was the widow of Clyde Odell Parrish and a member
of Colonial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law,
Ellen and Charles Schlotthober, Bedford; two granddaughters, Jessica and
Carolyn, Bedford; brother and sister-in-law, William D. and Betty Robertson,
Moneta; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William E. and Sarah Parrish,
Roanoke; also surviving are numerous nieces; and nephews. Funeral services
will be held at Colonial Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Friday, with Dr.
Michael R. Nevling and the Rev. H. Fleet Powell officiating. Interment will
follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
