OBIT THORNHILL, JERRY W.

THORNHILL, Jerry W., 47, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, September 15, 1993. He is survived by four sons, Jerry W. Thornhill Jr., Roanoke, Wendell Thornhill, Baltimore, Md., Toney Thornhill, Roanoke, and Darren Thornhill, Roanoke; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. John R. and Florene L. Thornhill, Roanoke; one brother, Robert L. Thornhill, Roanoke; five sisters, Mrs. Barbara Johnson, Temple Hills, Md., Charlotte Knowles, Temple Hills, Md., Mrs. Audrey Ellison, Clinton, Md., E. Diane Johnson, Hampton, and Shirley Thornhill, Roanoke; one grandchild; five aunts; a host of relatives and devoted friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Loudon Aveune Christian Church, with Rev. William L. Lee officiating. Burial will be in Williams Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Fizer's Funeral Home and Saturday morning at Loudon Aveune Christian Church before the service.
