LEISURE DIRECTIONS' `FRIDAY NIGHT OUT'

Leisure Directions will sponsor a "Friday Night Out" for adolescents and adults with mental retardation Friday with a walk and talk at Virginia Tech's Horticulture Garden. This will be the first of four Friday night excursions, arranged in cooperation with the Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department, which will focus on a variety of activities.

The cost is $8 for all four trips, or $2 for each, and transportation will be provided from these pick-up points for clients who live in Montgomery County:

Food Lion, Radford, 6:15 p.m.

Christiansburg National Guard Armory, 6:30 p.m.

Wal-Mart parking lot, 6:45 p.m.

Kmart, Blacksburg, parking lot, 7 p.m.

Participants will be transported home after each event. Registration is required and financial assistance is available.
