PICKEL-HOLLEY

Mr. and Mrs. T. Max Pickel of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Katherine, to Richard Durward Holley, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ray Holley of Roanoke.

Ms. Pickel, a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Geneva College (Pa.), is a media consultant at WFIF/WPVR Radio.

Mr. Holley, who recently completed his graduate studies at Virginia Tech, is a graduate of Roanoke Valley Christian School and is employed in Washington, D.C.

A November wedding is planned.
