Shannon Marie Wellons and Michael Lewis Stinnette are pleased to announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood A. Wellons of Elliston. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis H. Stinnette of Lynchburg.

Shannon is a graduate of Shawsville High School and Radford University. She is employed by Allstate Insurance Co.

Mike is a graduate of Brookville High School and attended Central Virginia Community College. He is employed by Kroger.
