BEAGLE-BOWMAN
In an outdoor celebration on September 4, 1993, Gloria Dawn Bowman and
Benjamin Stuart Beagle, III, were united in marriage at the home of the
groom's parents. Pastor Pete Bainperformed the ceremony. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Algie L. Light of Callaway. The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Stuart Beagle, Jr. of Roanoke. Given in marriage by
herfather, the bride wore a white satin gown with dimensional roses on the
sleeves and gathered overskirt with rose trim. The gown was made by sister of
the groom, Lucinda Casey. The matron of honor was Glenda Dodson, sister of the
bride. The groom's father, Benjamin Stuart Beagle, Jr., served as best man.
Gregory and Scott Bowman, nephews of the bride, served as ringbearers. The
bride is employed by Appalachian Power Company. The groom is also employed by
Appalachian Power Company as an Engineering Technologist Supervisor. Following
a seven dayCaribbean Cruise, the couple will reside in Roanoke County.
