CUNNINGHAM-MAJOR

Miss Kimberly Lynn Major and Mr. John Robert Cunningham were married September 18, 1993, in Crestwood Presbyterian Church. Dr. John Warwick Daniel performed the ceremony. The reception was held at The Tuckahoe Woman's Club. Matron of honor was Robin Major McClaine, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Karen Paige Cofer, Katherine Blair Ashburn, Jami Lee Gelineau, Sarah Elizabeth Gwaltney, Chris Palmucci Hobbs, Robin Slayton Hinton, Jennifer Susan Moore, and Kara Ramsey Sensenig. Flowergirl was Mallory Christine McClaine, niece of the bride. The best man was Mr. Robert Quarles Cunningham, father of the groom. The ushers were Jeffrey Michael Ahearn, Lynn Scott Avis, Walter Moore Dixon, III, Walter Scott Frazier, John Everette Gardner, III, James Allen Jamieson, Evan Martin Kalfus, Jeffrey Scott Major, and Nelson Stone Teague, Jr. Ringbearers were John Clayton Jamieson and Parker Quarles Jamieson, nephews of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Flood Major, of Richmond. She graduated from Monacan High School and from Radford University. She is employed by Lewis-Gale Psychiatric Center. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quarles Cunningham, of Roanoke. He graduated from North Cross High School and from Radford University. He is employed by Highway Machinery and Supply Company. After a wedding trip to Aruba, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
