Elizabeth "Beth" Margaret Goode and Richard Fuhrey were married September
18, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. in Salem Wesleyan Church by Rev. Paul W. Braisted. The
reception was held at the church. The matron of honor was Amy Williams,
childhood friend. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Kelley and Diana Jackson, both
of Roanoke, and Kristal Wright of Lakeview, N.Y., sister of the groom. The
flowergirl was Nikki Goode, daughter of the bride. The best man was Billy
Fuhrey of Conyers, Ga., brother of the groom. The ushers were Chuck Law of
Boyton Beach, Fla., cousin of the groom, Phil Lolli of Apopka, Fla., friend of
the groom, and Joe Pezzino of Attica, N.Y., cousin of the groom. The
ringbearer was SammyPezzino of Attica, N.Y. The guestbook was attended by
Donna Eddy.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carlton Goode of Roanoke.
She is a graduate of William Fleming High School and attended Virginia Western
Community College. The bride is employed by First Union Mortgage Corporation.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. Bill Fuhrey of Springville, Pa. and Betty Fuhrey of
Lakeview, N.Y., is a graduate of Elk Lake High School in Dimock, Pa. and
attended Erie Community College. He is a law enforcement officer with Orange
County in Orlando, Florida. The newlyweds will live in Altamonte Springs,
Florida after the wedding trip to the Bahamas.
