HAYES-WOOD

Connie Michele Wood and Darin Eugene Hayes were married September 18, 1993, in Wheatland Lutheran Church. Pastor Robert Maier officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Wood. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hayes, all are of Fincastle. Kimberly Wood, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Goad, cousin of the bride, and Della Thomas, friend. The groom's father served as his best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Wood andTracy Wood, brothers of the bride. Guestbook attendants were Jessica Wood and Richina Wood, cousins of the bride. The wedding was directed by Kathy Goad, aunt of the bride. Photographers were JoAnn Ashton, aunt of the groom, and Bobby Loope. The organist was Pam Stump. A reception was held in the church fellowship hall and was hosted by Laura Hatcher, sister of the groom, Rheta Coleman and Teresa Wood, both cousins of the bride, and Michelle Hanna, friend. The bride is a graduate of James River High School and Virginia Western Community College, and is employed by First Union National Bank. The groom is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by Old Dominion Glass, Inc. The couple will reside in Fincastle.
