PETERSON-MONTGOMERY

BLACKSBURG - Rebecca AnnMontgomery and John Eric Peterson were married September 18, 1993, in the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Robert T. Hughes officiated at the Lutheran service, assisted by theReverend Gary Rhinesmith. Jennifer Montgomery-Meade of Virginia Beach served as her sister's lady of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassandra Sweet of Radford; Melinda Mays of Roanoke;Linda Hudson of West Chester, Pa.; Lori Pennington and Emily Pennington, both of Blacksburg. David Peterson of West Grove, Pa., served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Meade of Virginia Beach; Edward Conrad ofLandenberg, Pa.; Kevin Boyer ofFlorence, N.J.; Michael Phillips ofCentreville, Va.; and Wayne Leipold of Upper Marlboro, Md. A reception was held at the Donaldson Brown Center on the Virginia Tech Campus. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie F. Montgomery of Blacksburg. She is agraduate of Virginia Tech. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Peterson of West Grove, Pa., is also a graduate of Virginia Tech. He is employed by Sverdrup Corp. of Falls Church, Va. After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple will reside in Reston, Va.
