WHITE-SAWYERS

Angeletta Lou Ellen Sawyers and Trevor Alan White were married September 18, 1993, in Big Spring Baptist Church. Rev. John Smith performed the ceremony. The reception was held at Shawsville High School. The matron of honor was Debra R. Walker, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Donna H. Robinson, friend of the bride, Christina B. Wilson, Denise S. Mount, both cousins of the bride, and Carla S. Harmon, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Rebecca Royal, friend of the bride. The best man was Tim M. Richards, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Mark B. White, brother of the groom, Neil B. Ordway, Willie Mosser, and Keith Randall, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Matthew Reynolds, friend of the bride. The candlelighters were Willie Mosser and Keith Randall. The guestbook was attended by Angel F. Garlick. The bride's Victorian style gown was white satin with sequins and a cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, miniature carnations and gardenias with flowing greenery and pearls. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Sawyers, of Shawsville. She graduated from Bible Holiness Christian Academy, attended V.W.C.C. & N.R.C.C. and is employed by Premier Bank. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. C.B. White, Jr., of Suffolk, and Mrs. Joyce Wolford, of Moneta. He attended Ferrum College and is employed by Big Spring Mill, Inc. After the honeymoon, the newlyweds will live in Christiansburg.
