WHITMORE-ROBERTSON

Andrea Laine Robertson and John (Jay) Beville Whitmore, III were married September 18, 1993 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Vinton, Va. The officiating pastors were Rev. Chip Corbin and Rev. Michael Palmer. The maid of honor was Julie Dalton, cousin of the bride, and the bridesmaids were Ramona Biller, Kelly Moody, Kindra Simms, friends of the bride and Jennifer Whitmore, sister of the groom. The best man was Ralph Patteson, friend of the groom, and the groomsmen were James Whitmore, uncle of the groom, Chuck Robertson, brother of the bride, Todd Busic and Ken Weikel, friends of the groom. The flower girl was Whitney Blankenship, cousin of the bride and the ring bearer was Trey Harris, friend of the bride and groom. The guest register was attended by Sarah-JaneGatley and Randy Leftwich. The director of the wedding was Betty Barton who also arranged the flowers.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barry Robertson of Vinton, Va. She graduated from the College of William and Mary and attended the University of Virginia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beville Whitmore, Jr. of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Radford University.

After their honeymoon in Key Largo, the couple will reside in Salem, Va.
