FOOTBALL-EAGLES HAVE STREAK EXTENDED

Franklin County lost its 21st consecutive game on Friday night, a 34-6 blowout loss to Heritage in Lynchburg. It is the longest current losing streak in Group AAA. Heritage had 324 yards rushing. The Eagles (0-3) were held to minus-6 yards on the ground. Mandell Haskins had 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Pioneers (3-0). \
