Montgomery was 19-of-31 with two interceptions. He completed a 38-yard scoring pass to John Ely in the first quarter, and a 20-yarder to Todd Woodall in the second quarter for a 14-7 halftime lead.
Bridgewater (0-2 overall, 0-1 ODAC) scored following Montgomery's first touchdown pass on an 80-yard kickoff return by Will Prince.
Emory & Henry (3-0, 2-0) scored twice in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run by Todd Lee and a 62-yard run by Aaron Brand.

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane, with quarterback Craig Randall passing sparingly but effectively, shut out the Tribe.
Tulane, a Division I-A independent, which relied heavily on its running game, is 1-2. William and Mary, ranked 17th in Division I-AA, is 1-2. The last time Tulane shut out an opponent was in a 14-0 victory over LSU in 1973, a span of 216 games.
William and Mary was last shut out in a 27-0 loss to Navy in 1981 - 133 games ago.
Tulane took a 7-0 lead midway through the second quarter on a 16-yard touchdown pass from Randall to Kevin Cunane. The score came at the end of a 14-play, 92-yard drive. The scoring play was the only pass of the drive.
Tulane stretched the lead to 10-0 on Bart Baldwin's 22-yard field goal with 31 seconds remaining in the third quarter. That drive lasted 16 plays and covered 49 yards. Only three of those plays were passes.
William and Mary had a few scoring opportunities, two of which ended with blocked field goal attempts.

STORRS, Conn. - Wilbur Gilliard scored five touchdowns to lead Connecticut over the Dukes in a Yankee Conference game.
The sophomore tailback scored on runs of 17, 5, 3, 20 and 10 yards as the Huskies (2-1, 2-0) won the first-ever meeting of the two teams. JMU joined the conference this season.
The Dukes (1-2, 0-2) took a 7-0 lead on the opening series of the game on a 1-yard run by Steven Agee, but UConn took control on two touchdowns by Gilliard and a 42-yard field goal by Nick Sosik.
Sosik broke UConn's career scoring record with the field goal and six extra points, finishing the day with 176 points. The old mark was 170 by kicker Domingos Carlos.
James Madison cut the lead to 17-14 on a 1-yard run by Kelvin Jeter, but UConn got another touchdown by Gilliard to make it 24-14 at the half.
Runs by Gilliard and Jerome Edwards gave Connecticut a 38-14 lead before JMU quarterback Mike Cawley passed 17 yards to tight end Ed Perry to make it 38-20.
The Dukes got two touchdowns in the last 1:12 on passes of 16 and 25 yards from Cawley to Jay Jones.

SAN MARCOS, Texas - Linebacker Ryan Domec stripped the ball from quarterback James Rogers with 2:19 left, preserving Liberty's victory.
The Flames (3-0), ranked 18th in Division I-AA, ran out the clock after recovering Rogers' fumble on their 36.
Liberty broke a 14-all tie with 5:54 remaining on a 43-yard field goal by Dan Whitehead. It was the Flames' only score of the second half.
The Flames built a 14-3 halftime lead on a 57-yard scoring pass from Travis Wileman to James McKnight and a 6-yard run by Adrian Cherry.

DURHAM, N.H. - Avrom Smith rushed for 111 yards to help New Hampshire beat the Spiders in the Yankee Conference.
David Gamble opened the scoring for New Hampshire on a 6-yard pass from Jim Strayer. UNH (1-2, 1-1) upped the lead to 14-0 when Smith broke through for a 33-yard run into the end zone in the second quarter.
Richmond (2-1, 1-1) tied the score on a touchdown run by Uly Scott and a Rod Boothes pass reception with 32 seconds left in the half.
New Hampshire added two more touchdowns in the second half on another run by Smith and one by Gamble.

\ Virginia State 40, N.C. Central 17: At Portsmouth, Gregory Clark threw for four touchdowns, including a 52-yarder to Donald Wheeler, as Virginia State defeated North Carolina Central in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
\ Clinch Valley 28, Hampden-Sydney 25: At Hampden-Sydney, Ernest Starker rushed for three touchdowns and 222 yards on 27 carries as Clinch Valley beat the Tigers. Clinch Valley (2-1) pulled out the victory despite Hampden-Sydney's Cetric Gayles, who ran for three touchdowns. Hampden-Sydney (1-1) failed to convert three two-point conversion attempts.
\ Randolph-Macon 38, Catholic U. 6: At Ashland, David Hughes scored three touchdowns, including one on a 71-yard kickoff return, as Randolph-Macon (1-1) defeated Catholic (0-2). Randolph-Macon's Andy Bush threw touchdown passes of 33 and 27 yards to Hughes. He completed seven of 19 passes for 107 yards.
\ Hampton 13, Virginia Union 0: At Hampton, Kevin White rushed for 72 yards and all of Hampton's points as the Pirates beat CIAA rival Virginia Union.
