OBIT MCCLAMMER, GERALDINE P.

McCLAMMER, Geraldine P., 66, of Roanoke, died Saturday, September 18, 1993. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann McClammer. Mrs. McClammer was a lifetime member of Old Bethany Methodist Church, which is now known as Northview United Methodist Church. She was a member of the choir, taught Sunday School and served on various committees of her church. She was a former employee of Lewis Gale Hospital and retired from Roanoke United Methodist Home. Surviving are her husband, George T. McClammer; one son, George Edward McClammer; one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie M. and Lynn Duncan, Roanoke; granddaughters, Michelle Ann Duncan, Nicole Lynn Duncan; grandson, George Edward McClammer Jr.; one brother, Thomas W. Pickle, Abingdon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Squad #5, Hollins. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Northview United Methodist Church by Dr. Carl E. Savage. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
