OBIT RUTLEDGE, MINNIE MARTIN

RUTLEDGE, Minnie Martin, of Roanoke, died Friday, September 17, 1993. She was the widow of Henry Sanford Rutledge. Mrs. Rutledge was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church and the Franklin Chapter #128 Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, including June Barbour and Helen Moore, both of Roanoke. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church, 1008 Franklin Road, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, September 20, 1993, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, with the Dr. Charles W. Easley officiating. A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
