WALTON, Geraldine Hall, 53, of Goodview, died Saturday, September 18, 1993,
in a local hospital. Surviving are her husband, John L. Walton; a daughter and
son-in-law, Dianne and Robert Cannaday of Vinton; three sons and
daughters-in-law, Bobby and Sandy Walton of Roanoke, Ricky and Tina Walton of
Goodview and Gary and Melissa Walton of New London, Conn.; mother, Lillie Hall
of Roanoke; two brothers, Wilbourne Hall of Salem and Jimmy Hall of Roanoke;
three sisters, Dorothy Wood of Bedford, Betty Bowling of Newport News and
Christine Busse of Roanoke; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be
conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 20, 1993,
with Elder W. T. Conner and Elder W. Lane Carter officiating. Burial will be
in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
