OBIT CHAPMAN, NOLA ROUTH

CHAPMAN, Nola Routh, 75, of Chilhowie, died Saturday, September 18, 1993 at her home in Chilhowie, Va. She was a member of Chilhowie Church of God of Prophecy. She is survived by four sons, James O. Chapman, Pulaski, John D. Chapman, Madison Heights, Richard N. Chapman, N. Wilkesboro, N.C., Ronnie S. Chapman, Saltville; two daughters, Gloria C. Davenport, Kathy C. Holmes, both of Glade Spring; four sisters, Alba Debord, Kingsport, Tenn., Gussie Cardwell, Saltville, Cora Lee Catron, Marion, Audrey Hopkins of Maryland; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chilhowie Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Lawrence Saddler and Rev. Jimmy Hagy officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening at the Chilhowie Church of God of Phropecy. D. R. Anderson Funeral Home of Saltville, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
