OBIT CHRISTENSEN, ROGER LLOYD

CHRISTENSEN, Roger Lloyd, (Chris), 62, of Roanoke, died Saturday, September 18, 1993. He was retired from General Motors, and was a Commander in the Virginia Militia, a volunteer for the Easter Seal Society, a NASCAR lover and member of the Grandin Court Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Sherry W. Christensen; his son, David T. Christensen of Tenn.; daughter Lisbeth L. Butt of Maryland; his brother Al Christensen; sister Sharon Christensen, both of Ill.; and grandson Christopher M. Butt; a dear friend, Polly and beloved pet, Spooky. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Robert M. Hamner. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
