OBIT MILLER, PEARL BARKER

MILLER, Pearl Barker, 81, of Pilot, passed away Sunday morning, September 19, 1993. She resided at 4992 Pilot Road and went to meet her heavenly Father from Montgomery Regional Hospital. Being the most loving mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Miller, three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Marie and Eather Phillips, Merl Flinchum, all of Pilot; four sons and three daughters-in-law, R. C. and Carmel Miller, Billy and Dorothy Miller, Carry Miller, all of Pilot, Sonny and Loretta Miller of Riner; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Helen Barker, Bluewell, W. Va.; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pilot Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Revs. Kenneth Kingrea, Larry Meadors, H. D. Sawyer, Leon Alley and Mike Reynolds. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg. The body will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Monday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Pilot Pentecostal Holiness Church. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne in Christiansburg.
