NAMES ON CAMPUS

BRUCE E. BROWN, professor of business management and marketing, has been named a Chancellor's Fellow by the Virginia Community College System. Brown has been teaching at New River for 15 years and will be on educational leave this year to complete his doctorate in community and junior college administration at Virginia Tech.

Retired Pulaski County educator and former school principal JEANNE B. WHITMAN has been elected president of the New River Community College Educational Foundation.

\ MARK HAMRIC, a Certified Public Accountant, is the new business manager and BEN KRAMER is the college's new activities counselor.

\ GEORGE BONNAND has joined the technology division as instructor for the tool-and-die and moldmaking program.

\ TAMMY HARMON, a 1991 graduate of New River, has been hired as student development secretary and ELAINE POWELL of Fairlawn is the new receptionist in the financial aid office.

\ SABRINA CONNOR is a programmer who has joined the staff of the office of planning and research.
