RADFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY PLANS SUNDAY HOURS

The Radford Public Library has announced that Sunday hours will resume Oct. 3. The library will be open Sundays 2-5 p.m. Officials expect the new children's wing to be completed sometime next month, and the story time for 3- to 5-year-olds will start again once the new wing is open.

The library will be shut down for about three days to allow carpet installation. The dates of that shutdown will be announced.

Until the new wing is completed, the library will not be able to collect and store books donated for future Lamplighter used book sales.
