OBIT WADE, JOHN HENRY

WADE, John Henry, ("Buckwheat"), 61, of Salem, passed away, Saturday, September 18, 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Wade; one son, Edward Helm; one daughter, Bernice L. Helm all of Salem; one step son, Theodore Helm, Floyd; one stepdaughter, Myrtle Ramsey, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the Green Temple No. 2. Rev. Michael Nemo will officiate with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will be receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
