NAMES ON CAMPUS

KEVIN WILLIAMS has been appointed assistant to the university president. A 1993 graduate of Radford University, Williams majored in political science and has been interested in the administrative side of higher education. He was named to the dean's list and the Big South Conference Presidential Academic Honor Roll.

Christiansburg native JENNIFER JABLONSKI has joined the office of student affairs as a publications coordinator. She earned her journalism degree from a University of South Carolina and has worked for the Roanoke Times and World-News.

Music professor CARYL CONGER has been appointed assistant director of the honors program. She will plan Honors Day and Honors Symposium and will be on the long-range planning committee, advising the student executive board and attending conferences.

\ LISA HARPER has been named assistant director in the office of residential life. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Concord College and a master's in counseling psychology from Radford.

\ JAN AYCOCK, director of international student services, received a grant to conduct a free workshop on "The Uniqueness of Wampler Rural Areas: Community Programming for International Visitors."

\ MARION "TOMMIE" JONES of Floyd has been re-elected rector of the Board of Visitors. She is an independent filmmaker in Washington.

\ BERNARD C. WAMPLER of Pulaski, chief executive officer and president of Pulaski Furniture Co., has been re-elected vice rector of the Board of Visitors.
