OBIT NICHOLS, CECIL WARREN SR.

NICHOLS, Cecil Warren Sr., 68, of Roanoke, died Monday, September 20, 1993. Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Shelba J. Nichols of Roanoke; children, Cecil Warren Nichols Jr. of Troutville, Mary J. Godsey of Sarasota, Fla., James L. Nichols, Lisa G. Johnson, Vickie M. Nichols, Charles R. Nichols, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren; mother, Blanche H. Nichols; brothers, Terry Nichols, Earl Nichols, Paul Nichols, Charles Nichols; sister, Barbara Nichols, all of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 23, 1993, at 1 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Minister Tommy Blewett officiating. Military honors will be by VFW Post 1264. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Vinton Chapel Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
