OBIT KNICK, FLOSSIE LUCILLE CLARK

KNICK, Flossie Lucille Clark, 77, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, September 21, 1993 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Lexington. Mrs. Knick was born in Rockbridge County on May 22, 1916, a daughter of the late Oliver Bird Clark and Norma Vest Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter T.Knick and was a member of the Advent Christian Church, Lexington. She was a retired teacher's aid from Waddell School after thirteen years of service. Mrs. Knick is survived by three sons, Roy L. Knick, Buena Vista, Calvin E. Knick, Bland, Harold Wayne Knick, Raphine; one sister, Junie Craft, Lexington; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 1993, at the Advent Christian Church with Rev. Ballard Shepherd officiating, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
