ALPHA PHI ALPHA CHAPTER HONORED

Virginia Tech's Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Theta Iota chapter, has been named one of the top five chapters in the country for excellence in community service and brotherhood.

The campus chapter was started here in 1973. Last year, the members raised money for Hurricane Andrew victims, set up a hypertension clinic and sponsored an essay contest that awarded scholarship money.
