JANNEY, Dallas Ellis, 81, of Copper Hill, died Tuesday, September 21, 1993,
in a Salem nursing home. Surviving are his wife, Mary E. Janney; one daughter
and son-in-law, Hazel and Eugene Overfelt; one son, Matthew E. Janney, all of
Copper Hill; one grandson; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mary Allen and
Anglina Whitehead, both of Copper Hill; brother, Okie Janney of Roanoke.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home with the
Rev. Frank Wimmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Underwood Cemetery,
Floyd. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Wood
Funeral Home.
