ROANOKERS SKEPTICAL ABOUT HEALTH PLAN

Roanoke Valley readers responding to the newspaper's Infoline Reader Feedback survey are generally skeptical of President Clinton's health reform plan unveiled this week. But readers in the New River Valley are apparently warming to his proposals.

In Roanoke, 240 readers telephoned to register strong disapproval of the plan, while 65 generally disapproved but agreed with some parts.

In the New River Valley, 50 of the 116 callers strongly approved of the plan, while 22 approved with some areas of disagreement. Twenty-five strongly disagreed with it.
