OBIT OTEY, CHARLIE ALLEN

OTEY, Charlie Allen, 33, of Fincastle, died Thursday, September 23, 1993. He is survived by his mother and father, Clara and Charlie L. Otey of Fincastle; one grandmother, Beatrice Richards of Roanoke; one sister, Tara Otey Sowder of Fincastle; one half-brother, Thomas Patsel of Roanoke; two nieces, Casey Sowder and Joya Patsel; five aunts and uncles, Hilda and Thomas Womack, Juanita and George Volk, Maxine and Jack Mitchell, Carson and Christine Patsel and John Richards. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 26 at 2 p.m., at the Haymakertown Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Hutchins officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fincastle Rescue Squad.
