OBIT STEVENS, RONALD THOMAS

STEVENS, Ronald Thomas, 57, of Bedford County, died Friday, September 24, 1993. Mr. Stevens was a member of Roanoke Avenue Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service; a member of Vinton Moose Lodge 1121, Woodmen of the World and American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (Sissie) Karpowich Stevens; his children, Lynn R. Stevens, Brookneal, Woody G. Stevens, Herndon, Ronald T. Stevens II, Rocky Mount, Michael L. Stevens and Anthony W. Stevens both of Bedford County; grandson, Nathaniel D. Stevens, Brookneal; mother, Lucy G. Stevens, Roanoke; sisters and brother, Patricia S. Evans, Roanoke, Carolyn S. Puckett, Blacksburg, Cherryl S. Moyer, Salem, Neil S. Stevens, North Carolina. Funeral services will be conducted at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 11 a.m. Monday, September 27, 1993, with REv. Gary A. Kingery officiating. Interment in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
