OBIT DUENK, GENEVIEVE LINN

DUENK, Genevieve Linn, 69, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, September 23, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mrs. Duenk was born in Downers Grove, Ill. on February 4, 1924 to the late Carl and Jenny Linn Carlson. She is survived by her husband, Lester G. Duenk; one sister and brother-in-law, Olive and Grant Likens, Seminole, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Marvin K. Duenk, Cedar Grove, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27, at 11 a.m. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Bethune officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
