2 LOCAL BUSINESSES ADD TO SCHOLARSHIPS

Two businesses have donated $1,000 gifts for Wytheville Community College scholarships.

Amsco Products-Camcar Division of Textron Inc. in Wytheville gave $1,000 for the Vern E. Lentz Scholarship Endowment, established in 1980 by employees of that company and friends of Lentz when he retired from Camcar.

Sprint-United Telephone-Southeast gave $1,000 to the college's Educational Foundation Inc. The donation will help meet a $200,000 goal set for the foundation's 1993-94 campaign.
