BREAKELL-WALLACE
Katherine Peyton Wallace and James Gill Breakell were married September
25, 1993 at Eastern Shore Chapel in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Reverend
Andrew MacBeth officiated. An oceanside reception was held at the Sea Breeze
Officer's Club on Dam Neck Base. The maid of honor was Virginia M. Syer. The
bridesmaids were Dulce K. Hardin, Winnie O'Leary, Nina B. Repeta, Tricia T.
Izard and Mary Margaret Gurley. The best man was Stanley Breakell, father of
the groom. The groomsmen were Stanley G. Breakell, Robert W. Breakell, John C.
Gurley, James J. Izard, II, Thomas R. Cunningham, Stuart F. Sligh, Richard S.
Ferguson, Stuart R. Brown, J. Gordon Sligh and Byron W. Berry. The cruicifers
were G. Hall Sebren and Matthew L. Sebren. Attending the guestbook was Mrs.
Page Breakell Beeler, sister of the groom. The bride wore an off-the-shoulder
cap sleeve gown of ivory silk shantung with alencon lace and seed pearl
detailing. She carried a cascading bouquet of gardenias and roses. The bride
is the daughter of Mrs. Richard Courtney Wallace of Virginia Beach, Virginia
and the late Richard Courtney Wallace. The bride is a graduate of Norfolk
Academy and Virginia Commonwealth University and is employed by Mill Mountain
Theatre. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Breakell of Roanoke. He is
a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and the University of Georgia, and is
employed by Breakell, Incorporated. The newlyweds will return to live in
Roanoke after the wedding trip.
