Because incorrect information was given to the newspaper, the listing for Roanoke's Studios on the Square is incorrect in today's preprinted Arts Calendar '93 in the Extra section.

Showing Oct. 1-31 in the Left Wing Gallery will be "Masks, To Wear and Not To Wear." Showing Oct. 8-Nov. 15 will be "Hues and Views," railway paintings by Stephen Bayless and Art to Wear by Florence Bayless. Receptions will be held Oct. 1 and 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. 345-4076.

The Ben Franklin variety store in downtown Salem will remain open through the end of the year. Because of a reporter's error, a brief in Saturday's business section incorrectly reported that the store would close in November.

Because of a reporter's error, Salem High School quarterback Kevin Feazell was misidentified in Saturday's story about the Spartans' football victory over Graham.
