TECH TOPS VANDERBILT 3-2 IN MEN'S SOCCER

Jason Entlich's goal in the second overtime gave Virginia Tech a 3-2 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday in men's soccer.

Vanderbilt (3-2) scored with 30 seconds left in regulation on an Erik Toohey direct free kick, but the Hokies (5-2) made the score 1-1 with 15 seconds remaining on a goal by Will Littman.

Rodney Walsh gave Tech a 2-1 lead in the first overtime, but the Commodores' Michael Pao tied the score. In the second overtime, Chris Chladek assisted on Entlich's eighth goal of the season. - Staff report
