HURT, Nathaniel Howard, Sr., 61, of Bronx, N.Y., formerly of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 1993 in N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Powell Hurt, Bronx, N.Y.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles James, Rocky Mount, Nathaniel Howard Hurt Jr. and wife, Sandra; one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Geraldine and Anthony Lawrence Sr., all of Bronx, N.Y.; one brother and sister-in-law, Rufus and Colliemae Parker, Fieldale; four grandchildren; three aunts, Bessie Rose, Mary Jefferson, and Gladys Hunter, all of Roanoke; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
