WIN OUR HALLOWEEN ART CONTEST, AND WE'LL THROW YOUR CLASS A PARTY

It's getting close to that time of year again - time for ghosts, goblins and various ghouls to come calling. And that means it's time for NewsFun's annual art contest.

We want you to submit an original, color drawing of yourself, dressed up in your Halloween costume. You can be a witch or a football player. It doesn't matter, as long as the drawing is done by you alone.

NewsFun will throw a party for the class of the winner in each age-group category. Plus, the winning drawings will be published in the Oct. 25 edition of Newsfun.

The entries, which will be judged on originality and form, will be divided into age groups: kindergarten-second grade; third-fifth grade; and sixth-eighth grade.

Here's all you have to do:

Submit your color drawing of yourself dressed up for Halloween on plain white paper.

Include your name, grade, school, school telephone number, home telephone number and address on the back of your entry.

Mail your entry to NewsFun's Halloween Art Contest, Roanoke Times & World-News, P.O. Box 2491, Roanoke, VA. 24010-2491.

All entries must be received by midnight, Oct. 19.

Only one entry per person.
