NAFTA HEARING TRIP SCHEDULED

The YMCA and the Episcopal and Presbyterian campus ministries at Virginia Tech will sponsor a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend a seminar Oct. 7 to 9 on the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Participants will meet with the U.S. trade representative, as well as representatives of Greenpeace, the Mexican Embassy, the AFL-CIO and the Senate subcommittee on international trade.

The trip costs $50 for students and $60 for others. Some scholarships are available. The fee covers transportation, two nights' lodging and continental breakfasts. Transportation leaves Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. and returns the afternoon of Oct. 9. To register or for information, call 231-6860.
