OBIT SHIVELY, DOROTHY JANEY

SHIVELY, Dorothy Janey, 58, of 900 North Daniels Creek Road, Collinsville, died Monday, September 27, 1993 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville in Henry County. Mrs. Shively was born August 25, 1935 in McDowell County, W.Va. to the late Albert Janey and Martha Willis Janey. Mrs. Shively was employed by Martin Processing for over 15 years. She attended the Bassett Worship Center. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Turman of Boones Mill, Mrs. Roger (Louann) Moore of Fieldale; one son, Mr. Tommy Hubbard Jr. and wife, Evonne of Rocky Mount; four sisters, Lyda Hundley of Bluefield, W.Va., Louetta Dixon of Stanleytown, Gladys Faw of Vinton, Annie Washburn of Bassett; five grandchildren, Jamie Turman, Joshua Moore, Amanda Hubbard, Wendy Hubbard, William Hubbard. Services will be held Wednesday 2 p.m. at the Collins Services Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Brian Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park in Bassett. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Collins Funeral Services Chapel.
