Mike Tyson, whose rape conviction appeal was turned down last week, told Jet magazine that he is a "strong believer in distrusting" white people. "White society will not allow blacks to be their equal, because blacks were once slaves," he said.

According to the former heavyweight champ, his prominent status makes things worse. "Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan - like myself and many other black entertainers and celebrities with high profiles - are under attack, and every black in the world should offer support."
