AWARD PAYS TRIBUTE TO BUSINESS PIONEER

The Hugo Unruh Award is being sponsored by Inland Motor and Industrial Drives to honor the man who brought Inland Motor to Radford in the 1950s. Unruh remained actively involved in the business until his death in 1979.

The award recipient will be chosen based on contributions of personal sacrifice, heroism and civil contributions. Nominations may be mailed to The Hugo Unruh Award Committee, Inland Motor, 501 First St., Radford 24141. Nominations will be accepted through Oct. 15. The award will be announced later in October.
