RADFORD WOMEN STOP DAVIDSON

Melissa Belrose and Sue Williams each scored in the first half as Radford blanked Davidson 2-0 in a Big South Conference women's soccer match Tuesday in Davidson, N.C.

The Wildcats (4-4-1) outshot the Highlanders 9-2 in the second half but were unable to capitalize.

Kevin Niday scored all of Ferrum's goals as the Panthers defeated Guilford 3-1 in a non-conference men's game in Greensboro, N.C.

Ferrum is 2-6; Guilford is 1-6-1.
