Five physicians have joined the Radford Community Hospital staff: DR. WILLIAM CASSEL, general surgeon, is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed his internship and residency programs at the State University of New York. DR. PAUL KAMPFE, also a general surgeon, received his medical degree and completed internship and residency programs at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. A graduate in internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, DR. LEE LITVINAS completed internship and residency programs at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Ophthalmologist DR. RICHARD JOHNSON completed an internship at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and a residency program at the Medical College of Virginia after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. DR. WILLIAM PRICE, pathologist, earned his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and finished residency programs at the Medical College of Georgia and Medical College of Virginia.
HOWARD M. "JACK" TAYLOR has joined Anderson and Associates of Blacksburg as a corporate liaison in Southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee.
BEVERLY JENNELLE of Collision Plus and REBEKAH STUMP of Lester & Gillespie received the President's Awards for outstanding volunteer service to the Christiansburg-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
STEPHANIE L. PAUPE of Pearisburg has been named vice president of Sylvertron Corp., which is reopening the Pearis Theatre for live family entertainment. She will oversee general operation of the theatre and manage scheduling events, promotion and advertising.
