OBIT MILLER, WEDDINGTON D.

MILLER, Weddington D., ("W.D."), 80, of Radford, passed away Monday, September 27, 1993, in the Veterans Hospital in Salem. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the V.F.W. Post #776, and the New River Valley React Club. Surviving are his wife, Alma Inez Miller, Radford; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Pruitt, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Frances Dixon, Kings Mountain, N.C.; special daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Kenny Weeks, Radford; special grandson, Trey Weeks; special friend, John Slate; special V.F.W. member, Oather Duncan; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Clem Clark. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 1993, at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home, Radford, with Rev. O.D. Morgan and Rev. Stanley Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. Members of the Radford V.F.W. Post #776 will serve as pallbearers and will conduct graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
