OBIT REED, CYNTHIA LESTER

REED, Cynthia Lester, 93, of Floyd, died Tuesday, September, 28, 1993, at Skyline Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard M. Reed and a son, Oris L. Reed. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Betty S. and Ward T. Smith of Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Lucille Q. Reed, Floyd; three grandchildren, Janet S. Goad of Lexington; Steven W. Smith of Dayton, Jeffrey M. Reed of Floyd and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday 1 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, with the Rev. L. V. DeHart officiating with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home.
