Alleghany (8-2) outscored Bath County 16-1 in the first quarter and led throughout.
Ricketta Ricketts was the lone double-digit scorer for the Chargers (3-6) with 11 points. \

Magna Vista 68, Laurel Park 51: In Martinsville, Felicia Craig scored 17 of her 26 points in the second half to lead the Warriors to a Piedmond District victory over the Lancers.
Angie Morton had 14 rebounds to go with eight points, and Tanya Zehr added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Magna Vista (9-1 overall, 6-1 district).
Laurel Park got 20 points Taneshia Hairston and Torshida Dillard had 20 points each for Laurel Park (5-4 overall, 4-3 in the district).
\ Rural Retreat 49, PH-Glade Spring 42: In Rural Retreat, Beth Ketner scored 13 points and Tanya Tarter added 11 as Rural Retreat won in the Hogoheegee District to remain undefeated.

\ Martinsville 67, Fieldale-Collinsville 21: In Collinsville, Sam Ferguson and Erica Brandon combined for 30 points and Martinsville throttled the Cavaliers defensively in the Piedmont District rout.

Galax 51, Giles 25: In Galax, the Maroon Tide press created numerous easy baskets in the first half and Galax went on to the Mountain Empire District victory.
Tammy Cox had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Jaclyn Dickens added 13 points, 15 rebounds and six assists for Galax (5-3 overall, 5-2 in the district).
Giles' record fell to 1-7 overall, 1-6 in the district. \
Rocky Gap 64, Narrows 49: In Rocky Gap, Nancy Tupper scored 25 points and sparked a big second-half rally that carried the Eagles past the Green Wave in the Mountain Empire District.
Tupper, who sat out most of the first half with foul trouble, scored the first 10 points of the second half as Rocky Gap (5-2, 5-2) rallied from a seven-point deficit.
Freshman Amanda Clark had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Christie Whitt added 11 points - including two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter.
Melinda Fleeman had 17 points to lead Narrows (2-5, 2-5). \
Bassett 72, Gretna 42: In Bassett, all 10 Bengals scored as they crushed the Hawks in a Piedmont District contest.
Aimee Barker scored 17 points and Lori Wimbush added 15 to lead Bassett (9-0 overall, 7-0 in the district).
Charita Dews led all scorers with 21 points and Lashawn Barbour poured in 14 for Gretna (4-5, 3-4). \
Chilhowie 47, George Wythe 45: In Wytheville, the Warriors hit 21 of 34 free throws and held on to beat the Maroons in the Hogoheegee District.
Emily Dungan led the way for Chilhowie with 21 points.
Lisa Garland and Tonya Cregger had 12 points each for George Wythe (1-7, 1-7). \
James River 71, Bath County 25: In Buchanan, six of the Knights' seven players scored as James River coasted to a Pioneer District victory over the Chargers.
Angie Johnson and Teresa Hickman scored 21 points each and Cara Mundy chipped in 17 for the Knights (3-5 overall, 2-0 district).
With 13 points, Melanie Woods was the lone double-digit scorer for Bath County (3-5, 0-3). \
Stuarts Draft 80, Rockbridge County 37: In Stuarts Draft, the Cougars forced 36 turnovers and held the Wildcats to 12-for-56 field-goal shooting in the non-district game.
Kimmie Housh and Stephanie Barron scored 14 each for the Cougars (6-3). Tonia Clements had 13 points for Rockbridge County. \
Auburn 77, Bland 34: In Bland, the Eagles used a balanced attack to overwhelm the Rockets in a Mountain Empire District matchup.
Sherry Smith led Auburn with 23 points, and Lori Lyons (14 points), Angie Simpkins (12) and Renay Gardner (11) also hit double figures. The Eagles broke open the game with a 24-3 third quarter.
Rachel French scored 14 points and Pachess Umbarger added 12 for Bland (0-9, 0-7). \
Fort Chiswell 66, Grayson County 24: In Fort Chiswell, Trish Stuart scored 12 points and Amber Gunter added 11 as the Pioneers (4-4 overall, 4-3 in the district) prevailed in the Mountain Empire District.
Grayson County's record fell to 1-7 overall and 1-6 in the district.
